Door sweep

The flexible seal along the bottom edge of a door that presses against the threshold to block drafts, water, and bugs.

What it means for you

The cheapest, most replaceable weatherseal on the whole house — and often all that's wrong when you feel a draft or see daylight under a door. Worth trying before assuming the door itself is the problem.

Where you'll see it

The bottom of the door; a quick, low-cost fix for under-door drafts.
